De-cluttering - what's that?

De-cluttering involves clearing out part of a household, be it a flat or a house. You have probably already de-cluttered yourself – for example, if your cellar is overflowing and you are disposing of some of its contents, this is de-cluttering. It is also de-cluttering if, for example, your eldest child moves out of home and leaves some of the furniture behind, which you then dispose of.

Many people are also unaware of the difference between de-cluttering and clearance. In a clearance, everything is removed from said house or flat that it is left empty. in a de-cluttering, on the other hand, this is done with only a part of the household goods. So you see, de-cluttering is both commonplace and urgently needed – at the latest when you move house, it is advisable to de-clutter part of your household effects instead of taking them with you to your new home. Save yourself time and nerves and give us a call!
